16th Annual Okaloosa County Student Poster Contest 

The Okaloosa Arts Alliance (OAA) is excited to announce the 16th Annual OAA Okaloosa County School Poster Contest, inviting all Okaloosa County School students from kindergarten through 12th grade to participate!

Theme: "Art in Outer Space"

Let your imagination take off and interpret the theme however it inspires you—planets, astronauts, galaxies, and beyond!

Eligibility & Submission Details:

Open to all Okaloosa County School students (K-12).

Students may submit entries through their school or individually.

Only one entry per student is allowed.

Each entry must include the artist’s name, grade, and school on the front or attached.

Submission Deadline:  May 1, 2025, before the close of business


Prizes & Recognition:

First, Second, and Third place winners will be chosen in three categories:
🏆 Elementary School (K-4th)
🏆 Middle School (5th-8th)
🏆 High School (9th-12th)


First place winners' artwork will be showcased on the OAA website and newsletter.

Reception & Exhibition:

Winners will be announced and celebrated at a special reception on Saturday, May 4th, from 2:00–4:00 PM at the Emerald Coast Science Center. The event will also feature a Viewers’ Choice Award, where attendees can vote for their favorite artwork!


The Okaloosa Arts Alliance (OAA) of Okaloosa County is a local arts agency that strengthens the county by supporting the arts through advocacy, education, and marketing and promotion.
